Doublegene Pictures and the photoproject Drumming for Passion were founded by Marco Hammer from Mannheim. In the past couple years Marco was able to make a mark for himself in all areas of Artist Photography and shot pics of several big names in the music business. The customers trust his sense of esthetics and creativity which he incorporates in his projects.
The answer is simple „passion“! My passion is photography. When I began experimenting in the world of photography at the end of summer 2008 I found my two favorite subjects. Concert and portrait photography! The more I persued it the more riveting it became. Even though I’m often on the road for magazines and shows I still feel the need to express my creativity in the form of portraits and promo shoots.
My goals for concert photography are to capture the expressive / profound and rare moments so they may last forever! In addition to that I’m working hard in order to draw peoples attention to my project with overwhelming photos.
I’m constantly trying to grow and find my own style while expanding my horizon! It doesn’t really matter to me whether it’s in the studio, at a location or a composing as long as I achieve my goal to project what I envision on a photo.
